Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping information
"In Stock" items typically ship within 24 hours of order submission. We ship for free via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping time is usually 2-3 days, depending on where you live. We will ship overseas and to Canada, please send us an email if you live outside the lower 48 United States and we will quote you a price with shipping.
"In Stock" vs "Out of Stock"
We do our best to keep all of our items in stock and ready to ship. We do, however, get behind from time to time. Please trust that we are constantly building brake pads and strive to minimize anything being out of stock. If your machine is showing "Out of Stock," feel free to email us with what you are looking for and we will give you an estimate of when they will be ready.
How long do the brass brake pads last?
The brass brake pads should last at least four times as long as any of the "sintered" or "severe duty" pads available. We manufacture some models of pads with thicker than OEM pad material, as we use the thickest brass stock that will fit over the brake rotors. Note that we do not make estimates in mileage as that will vary based on your riding conditions, machine setup, tire size, riding style, etc.
Will they damage/work with factory rotors?
The brass brake pads will not damage and will work well with factory rotors. The brass, being the softer metal, will wear out as a normal pad would, just at a much slower rate. An upgrade to solid rotors is likely to yield even longer pad life, should you choose to go that route. If your rotors are damaged or gouged from running on worn out pads, that is likely to affect the life of the pads and we would recommend replacing with new rotors.
My machine is not listed. Can you make pads for it?
Yes, we can accommodate some custom orders. Please send us an email and we will make every effort to work with you and fabricate your custom brass brake pads.
I don't see my Polaris RZR/Ranger model listed.
Over the years, Polaris has used a variety of pad combinations on their RZRs and Rangers. We have all of the various pads they have used and have tried to list the most popular machines. If you do not see your machine, please email us and we will get you set up.
Warranty/return policy.
If you should have any problem with your brass brake pads, please contact us and we will issue a refund or exchange your pads...whatever makes you happy.
